There are two other manufacturers bsides Street Beast that offer larger cabins than the rest. Even the stretch Street Beast is still a bit tight in the footwells as those cars are really designed for use with auto transmissions. You would be better served by either an Everett Morrison which has a stretch version but not a lot of extra foot room in the footbox, or there's the Lone Star LS427. Lone Star out of Texas has the most room in the cabin and in the footwells of anybody. They have shaved 8" off the width of the center hump which gives you a 4" wider footwell on each side which is a BIG difference. They also happen to make a really great car and they have a well priced "home build program" if you would like to get your car professionally built in a week by having one of their builders come with the kit and help you put it together in your garage in just 7 days with your help! Their cars are great cars with the stiffest frame in the business and all around high quality parts and the latest vinyl ester glass bodies with great handling characteristics. If I ever build another Cobra it will be one of theirs. Check them out as well as Everett Morison which also offers a great car. 13eee feet however may never get enough room in any Cobra unless you go to an automatic trans. then there would be plenty. Also you will have to buy a good pair of driving mocasins as they do not have a sole which sticks out wider than the sides of the shoe like any normal street shoe does. I wear "drivers" and it does make a huge difference in the room I have down there while in the car.
See if you can find someone with a Lone Star and try it out. If it is too small then your out of luck. But there's alway the Corvette chassis based "Cobrette". They may be an option for you although not really a true Cobra car they are still nice looking pretenders and still FUN! Check them out also. I see them for sale from time to time and you can also buy one in various degrees of build options for very reasonable prices.

I am not familiar with the Street beast door hinges. Are they two curved tubular steel pieces with a single 1/2 inch bolt running through them for a hinge pin? The type I am talking above use a mounted plate that is welded to the door side. They attach to the door by drilling, taping and then bolting the hinge plate to the door. This is a common type of hinge used on many kits.
The problem is that there is alot of play in the hinge pin. This is because common diameter tubing is used instead of a precisely machined part. To elimintate the play I drilled a 1/4 in hole through both upper and lower hinges. I drilled the hole in the center of the the arc. I took a piece of 1/4 inch threaded rod and threaded on a nut and slid on a flat washer. I then inserted this assmembly between the upper and lower hinges and backed off the nuts until the rod was tight between the hinges. I snugged the nuts down until the slack was taken out of the hinge. This eliminated all door droop. I also drilled a small hole and pinned the hinge to the frame mounting plate to eliminate the possibility of the plate moving. I keep the hinge pin lubricated with a spray graphite to keep it from wearing excessively.
For those people that want or need really roomy footboxes and cocpits my new Cobra chassis frame/body kit offers that. I am 6'2" tall and weigh 230Lbs.
