Either it is a scam or it is a replica that they are trying to pass off as an original.

I have no affiliation with the seller, but just find it odd that the car is listed on Craigslist and its only $23,950.

 ...pretty perceptive, eh? :p

Clearly, it is listed by someone interested in meeting new people.

The pic in the ad was from a for-sale listing in January, 2007

Even if you add some zero's, say, $239,500 it's still a pretty low price and I remain skeptical of the details on this one!

and the price was?? I would guess in the $500K range.

What kind of 'crime' is it, if any, to post a fraud ad on Craigslist?

Do we always suspect fraud? Come on now. Maybe the new owner found out it had poor gas mileage, lacked an automatic transmission and the top was hard to put up. Perhaps he figured out he could sell it quickly it he offered it for a much reduced price. :JEKYLHYDE

If you hit the "View all" button on their website - you'll see a sale price of $30,010....

Wow, only 1 dollar for each mile driven so far. No wonder the new owner can afford to sell it so cheaply.
