Biblically, I don't think God was speaking of lawyers in the statement to Jobe but his counsel in general.

Anyway, still reminds me of you. ;)

All I do is point out what the history books say. Its not what I say.

Cheers.

Except, after nine years here, no one complains about ME

Let's give this topic a rest and start telling lawyer jokes

REAL 1 07-23-2008 11:35 AM

Not true Ed. I'm someone.

:p

I'm all for joke telling but lets include some doctor jokes, accountant jokes and other jokes directed at others too. Lets be fair. Oh,.... there I go again, I forgot...this is CC. ;)

George Foreman for "Pit Stop", STILL funny!

Thank goodness he didn't endores "Prepartion H" or things would have gotten real sh!ty!!

In Virginia, all you gotta do to be a lawyer is pass the bar exam. No law school needed. VA see's it for what it's worth. . . . .

Precedent and LexisNexis lookups. Certainly not like science or medicine. **)

I had a good laugh when I read the earlier post from the Real Deal - fortunately I had better things to do with my day, so I decided not to pen my lengthy riposte. Let's just stay with the lawyer bashing, I can't be bothered....and life's too short anyhoo.

clayfoushee 07-23-2008 02:06 PM

Yes, and it's drivel not dribble.

REAL 1 07-23-2008 02:29 PM

Well, Ed, since your so smart why not sit for the bar? You should pass since its just Lexis Nexus stuff and all.:rolleyes::LOL:

Maybe you could tell us just how many took the bar and passed without law school?

Every one hates lawyers till they need one. ;) Even authors.

Isn't that the truth.

This is one of the things I love about this site - I can skip a day, come back and catch up by reading the "new last page" while squirting scotch through my nose laughing about it.....

Perhaps UnReal is seeking expert witness status as Shel's shill?

Jamo 07-23-2008 10:07 PM

For the life of me, I can't believe we have two threads about this bullsh!t.

And who brought them (threads) together? Any guesses? Hmmm.

PANAVIA 07-24-2008 02:47 AM

I am soooo tired of the Shelby Inc this and Shelby Inc that. IMHO; Old Shel's folks at Shelby Licensing sure have made a mess of things of late.

We ( the royal we) helped feed them (quite well I might add) since the 1960's and I feel they are still gutting us like trout every chance they get.

I admire Carroll for what he has accomplished and aided others to do, and I consider myself a fan.

the AC Ace had other engines in it along the way before during and after the sixties work with FoMoCo and Shelco.

I love the Cobra; The First 40 years... book by Trevor Legate and his references to the Ace powered by a Chevrolet engine that predates the 221 install significantly.

Remember, "It is not who makes the nut, but the Nut who makes it" --and it takes a lot of "Nuts" to make a good car.

PS: Can I get a replacement Superformance Vin tag /placard for my SPF number that just has "Superformance MK III Roadster" and no "under license from..."

Which kinda proves that lawyers have no idea what to do with all that money.
