Coolant Questions
Couple questions for you.
I want to run all water and some kind of lube/anti-corrosive agent to keep my temps here in FLA below 212 on a regular basis with my aluminum radiator-heads-waterpump. 1- Royal purple's bottle says- "Do not use distilled water in an aluminum radiator" on their bottle. Why??? 2- Isn't "Water Wetter" a lube/anti-corrosive for aluminum? It says it is on the label. 3- Hyper-lube says not to use in conjunction with other additives. I guess my simple question is, what do I run in my coolant syatem if I want to run straight water and additives for anti-corrosion with NO anti-freeze, so I can keep my temps down about 20 degrees over the 50/50 mix with Water Wetter I am currently running? Any and all answers and/or suggestion are more than welcome. Dan |
