Engine is IN; Transmission is IN

Took some vacation time off from work, and took advantage of yesterday to work on the Cobra---a rare event, these days...

Got the engine into the Cobra, and got the transmission mated up. I have a thousand little details to go before I can fire her up, but this was a pretty signifcant milestone for me.

Engine is a mildly heated 302 and the transmission is a TKO-600. Using the McLeod concentric throwout bearing and a McLeod pressure plate. I decided to use the Quicktime bellhousing instead of the usual Lakewood unit. I'm pleased with the Quicktime product. Fortesparts.com has been a great source of help and parts.

Driveshaft and other parts should arrive next week. A thousand details to take care of, and then I'll fire her up! Should be relatively soon.
