I think it is pretty safe to say we have built our last copper car. |
CC members KHRACE that have a few items for sale here are the folks that have the copper Kirkey. They are a restoration shop in Gastonia NC.

This possible the car , as my friend is going to look at it in early morning. Another friend found the car an wants him to half car with him. I use to run family ford dearlership and race fords for many years and my friend contacted me to find out what i could. Now one of the guys would responded to my help said there was a copper shelby built. So could this be it or did this Kirkham really build one? Please respond back to email--badfrog931@yahoo.com thanks Fastfrog

Shelby never built a copper Corba.
|
Well, if this turns out to be the Kirkham car, then it sounds as if this case is solved. Let's all clap. That would mean the Clapping Carmel California copper corba constructed by Carroll caper is closed. And, if you never watched the Johnny Carson Show, you can be forgiven for not getting it.

You should hear Goerge Anderson do that routine...assolutely perfect. They have alot of time on their hands when the snow blows on the northern plains.

Sgt Joe (Ned) Friday is correct. I think we can clap that this copper corba case is closed, of course if this is a copper-clad corba that could cloud the consensus and cause corba connoisseurs to contemplate another conclusion. Signed, Clueless |

The alliteration was used by Johnny Carson and Jack Webb, aka Joe Friday in a classic The Tonight Show sketch. |
What is a Corba?

This explains why there is no drivetrain in the Corba. If you look closely at this rare car can you see two pedals a sprocket and chain rather than the usual three pedal setup? |

Perhaps the car is in Greece, "Corba the Greek". :D
|
Can someone clue me in about why this car even exists? Who wants a $125,000 car, before drivetrain, that is the color of a penny? Just keeping it shiny will be a full time job. I must be missing something.
