Oregon Coast Cruise
1 Attachment(s)
A friend from Idaho along with our wives spent 6 days last week "cruising" the awesome scenery of Oregon. We did 1300 beautiful miles and only got a little wet. I would suggest that if you ever have the opportunity to see the Redwoods from a Cobra, do it!!
I also averaged a little over 16 mpg with the new QFT 850 carb that I purchased from fellow Club member Brent Blykins!! Great fun was had by all!! The photo is of Diamond Lake which is close to Crater Lake!! |
Terry,
Just one picture? Come on, show off a little- show what the trip REALLY looked like. Bob |
Bob,
If you knew how long it took me to just get that one photo on there you would laugh!! More to come as soon as I figure out a better way!! Each photo is 250 mb and I have to pare them down to 39 kb!! |
So, I'm not the only one with that problem.......;)

Seeing your picture of Diamond Lake brought back some very pleasant memories . I used to work for a company located in Eugene and got to visit Oregon on a regular basis . One weekend , we went to Diamond Lake , spent the night and rode around the lake on bikes the next morning .... all 12 miles of it ! Went to Crater Lake from there for lunch at the Inn . Also managed to drive the Coast from Astoria back down to Eugene one year... and have been to the Sisters and also the lava fields . It`s been a few years since I`ve been in Oregon , but I do plan on making at least one more trip just to tour the area again . Oregon is one of my favorite places ... awesome scenery and great seafood !
