Glad to hear you guys made it through. Good luck getting everything cleaned up quickly and I hope you don't find any other undiscovered damage.

Finally some good news. It is getting tiring reading nothing but bank failures and business failures.

Maxx,

Glad that you made it through as well as you did. Also all of the others. I am looking forward to your photos when you can post them.

Day four,

Still no electricity for over a million of us. The gas stations have lines that take 2-3 hours and cops directing traffic or there would be lots of murders.
You know when driving to take roads that have lights that aren't working.
That way almost everyone treats it as a 4-way stop. (well except for the idiot that blows thru, he gets lots of one finger waves) If you see a resteraunt open the line maybe as long as the gas station. As madmax said it is fun setting in the driveway with the neighbors deciding what to grill and talking crap. Bad thing is the cobra has to stay inside when this is the best weather we have had in months. (saving the gas in it for the generator)
They can't even give a clue to when we will get power and they asked on the radio for everyone to quit stopping the power people and asking them at the sites, They are just slowing them down futher talking to them!!! haha

Well you have to make the best of it, I am driving to Huntsville, about 75 miles, and playing golf there tomorrow. I live on a golf course here in Humble that probably will not be open for a few weeks.

Larry

Boy I wished I could take the cobra tomorrow!!!!
