Looking for pics of Classic Roadsters

Have a friend trying to build one, and need pics of exhaust mounting and eng. bay. There were no motor mounts installed, using Ford 302, thanks

I am not sure how many I have in my gallary but here is the engine.

I did some extensive work on the firewall to cover up that ugly wire connection. This made all the difference in the world on the final look of the engine compartment.

Factory 302 engine mounts will work, depending on the HP of the engine. The engine stands came from CR with the kit.

The headers are mounted just to the engine heads and the side pipes are only mounted at the connection with the headers and at the tails of the side pipes themselves.

Look in my photo gallery. I can add more if needed. Or check out DV'S build of capteddies on the CRII forum here on CC.

What year is his kit? Mine was made in '92. Besides the motor mounts there are two pieces of welded metal (one for each side) that classic calls motor mount weldments. I changed my motor from a 351 windsor to a FE 427 so I have the weldments , motor mounts, headers and sidepipes from the 351. If you are interested e-mail me. (phopper2@cogeco.ca) I will takes some pics for you later. Do you have a build manual? I also have an extra. , Where is your friend located?

Motor Mount

We are building a 1992 kit. We installed a 302 and had to fabricate the motor mounts because the ones supplied didn't seem to fit much of anything. Turned out not to be too difficult if you can do a little welding.

I can take pics and send them if you need.
