Nooooooooo. Pictures that I took at various FFR Open Houses. Not pictures of my SPF. Although I was at a World of Wheels show in Boston, and I was right next to the FFR booth. Dave Smith and a lot of FFR employees asked me a lot of questions and took quite a few pictures. I even showed him some of the SPF "features" that are lacking on the FFR. He definitely was interested. Here is one of the pics he used ... (3 photos stitched together) http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...nHouse2007.jpg And he also used a video of mine ... |
Davids...

Bill kick me out also, about 2 or 3 years ago and if you want to talk about a DD Cobra they will lock the thread!!

Why don't you and the hillbilly get down in there and bite me.

Bill has a site that caters to lots of different personalities who have an interest in a single marque...that can be a tough road to travel. Real easy to implode if it's just allowed to run free.
Not suggesting anyone agree...merely be open to understanding. |
Jamo, my incident had to do with 100 shirts someone was selling that I wanted to know about ordering..Somehow my inquiry got to Bill and the first thing he said to me in an FFR email was, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? (AS IF I WERE A DUMMY) I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY HE RESPONDED , in the heat of the discussion I told him that he was just like a ""HITLER!"" Guess I shouldn't have gone that far....BUTTTTTTT, HE BANNED ME FOR IT FOR LIFE....NOW , THAT IS THE HONEST TRUTH!! I REALLY HOPE THAT BILL GETS A RESPONSE FROM THIS BUT WE SHOULD NOT BE BANNED.....I DISAGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH HIS ""TACTICS!"" ANYWAY, I LOVE THIS SITE......

ffcobra.com is a private entity. You don't have "rights" there. If you came on my property and called me Hitler I'd probably ban your azz az well. :)

Let's keep the conversation on topic relating to the shocks.
davids, you can work out your issues with ffcobra.com management off-line...or not. but...not here. thanks |
Ron's right, and I shouldn't have inquired. By the way, this site is not supported by tax dollars...Free Speech is inapplicable.

|

|
Alright Gordon, what's the deal? You know I'm hurt'n here with barely a week till Thunderhill! LOL
Talk soon, John ;) |
I'm leaning toward Pro-Shocks in Ga. They are very helpful and have a variety to choose from depending on the setup you want. It looks like no matter what FFR does we will be out of pocket, luckily I can do the labor there are a lot of people who will have to pay mechanic adding to the cost and aggravation factor.
FFR and Bilstein hold total responsibility and should compensate their customers for supplying inferior products. FFR went looking for a shock setup in quantity and Bilstein fulfilled the requset with product that met the bare minimum to meet cost requirements. This happens every day in all types of business the problem her is that a lot of those other issues are not part of a vehicl capable of extreme speeds. I have a total passion for my FFR and had had alot of fun with it. I am seriously thinking of another build, bigger better, faster, stronger and safer you know what I mean. This situation has me looking in the other direction like BDR TD cars. On another issue there a lot of times I don't have time to look at these forums and just happened across this other than that I would not have known there was another problem. I would have thought FFR would have gotten in touch some way or another with the customer to warn them. OK I'm done I think my wifes OCD is contagious. |
I'm curious if it's a problem with the shock it's self, or if the design of the suspension overloads it in some way which causes it to fail.
Could be it's the wrong part for the job, and not the shocks fault. |
