70,000 Miles!

On the way back home from the inaugural CH1 (Cobras on Highway One), about an hour south of San Luis Obispo on Highway 101, my Cobra clicked over the 70,000-mile reading on the odometer, I have had the Cobra 6 1/2 years, and it had 13,000 miles from the previous owner. The Cobra has never left me stranded, but have had the "usual" repairs along the way (radiator, clutch, oil pan gasket, blown fuses and connectors here and there), and after these 6 1/2 years, the Cobra never fails to leave a smile on my face!

(BTW, Duane, CH1 was a GREAT event!)

True Road Warrior at CH1.

Hey there Edley!

All of us at CH1 really appreciated you making the drive once again. It was great to see you coming up Highway1 from LA passing you as we were doing our little Thursday night jaunt to Carmel Valley going South to Baja Cantina for the car show. I peeked out the window Sunday morning early and saw you cross the tracks (as you were carefully trying to be quiet with the car leaving) on your venture back down South leaving CH1. There you were ready to tackle another long road trip back home in the Cobra, I remember thinking at that moment.

You are a true celebrity among all of us (whether your know it or not), snakehead and all! Just make sure to keep thing alive and well for CH1 2009 now that you are a confirmed charter member. :D

Hey Ed, what are you driving these days... the thumbnail pic is a bit too small for old eyes... oohhh a jag.... with a V-12?

That's good...I have 13K and compared to other Cobras in the area, I'm high mileage. In that 13K, I blew a clutch and broke a rocker arm, of which only one required a roll back.
