Wikipedia = No Shelby Cobra only AC

There is no Shelby Cobra information in Wikipedia because some assclown has redirected the Cobra link to an AC page with a never ending manifesto on how the AC was the Cobra.

Based upon someone here's recommendation, I went in and edited it. But assclown just keeps resetting it to the lies about AC. Is there a way for me to disable his ability to reset the whole thing so that he has to re-type it all.

Now he has blocked my IP address for 31hrs. What a fool! I recommend that the whole group of us go in and either edit or delete his whole manifesto over and over again until he gives up or his head explodes.

take a look:

It looks like Wikipedia provides some convoluted path to resolve disputes.

Good luck with that fight....

Not worth it. that process is nightmarish. Besides, THE WHOLE WORLD knows that Shelby built the car!!! :-)

I just thought maybe there was a back door to kill his "reset" capability.

Wikipedia: The ultimate source of knowledge abut everything. I kind of take a lot of the stuff I read there the same as I do what I read in the press. They are normally pretty accurate but this just proves that things can be changed to fit some persons idea of what they should be and not necessarily the facts.

I have edited sections before on various topics and found some corporate junior engineer assigned to monitoring Wiki had changed the information.

Wiki is the most unreliable source of historical information ( and facts ) referenced.

I am always looking at the information for authenticity.

Change it to be "Real Cobra" and let Evan handle the editing.

I love it. . . . . . Evan never never ever gives up. If Evan saw this, he would not stand for it. He would cause this guy to have a total mental breakdown. How do we PM him about this ??? :p

Not necessary...a while ago, Evan had me set up an alert system. Whenever the words "real," "Cobra" and "CSX" appear in a CC thread with more than 5 posts, a small red light continues to flash in his kitchen until he responds.

...kind of like the Bat-signal. :p

...patience, CobraEd.
