Roush valve covers

Hello,

I've got a 2003 Roush 402R. It's seeping a bit of oil from the right side of the valve cover (looking at the engine from drivers side). The bolts were pretty loose, hardly registered on torque wrench). I've tightened to 6lbs on advice from motorhead neighbor. Does this sound right? The covers are aluminum.

Also, are the old style Craftsman needle type torque wrenches good?

Thank you.

I have a 402SR and the Roush dealer recommended 10 ft lbs for the valve covers. If your valve cover has been leaking for a while, you may need to replace the gasket. I had to replace one side and used Fel-Pro part number FPP-1645.
