I had to have Doug at ERA send me a pedal stop to for the clutch to limit the travel.

marcalan: Really? It looked like I was going to have to do the same, but Doug told me that I can take the lower lever off the clutch and rotate it to get the position I want. Sure enough, I was able to rotate it and get the recommended ~1" throw at the master cylinder. The lock pin is hard to see, as it is on top of the lower lever.
Right now I have the master cylinder rod on the upper hole on the lower lever. If I switched to the lower hole that would get me to about 1-1/2" travel. Seems to work. I'll find out tomorrow. Doug, Yes, I too had to take off the the lower lever and rotate it on the splined shaft. I had to do this to move the lever towards the seat. I ended up moving the brake pedal as far forward as possible as well. The accelerator was adjusted to be parallel to the other pedals.
I had to do this (5' 2") in order to reach the pedal. They really set the car up for much taller folks. |
I'm using the Tilton floor mounted pedal set. It has a built in stop adjustment.

Doug, I did the same. 5'6" with a 29" inseam the steering wheel was almost hitting my chest. Rotated the clutch pedal on the splined shaft and put extensions on the brake pedal shafts. At least I did not have to use a booster seat to see over the steering wheel!
