Is this guy selling a sofa as half a kit?

Where did he get this and what the heck are those big holes on the top for?
This is almost laughable if the guy wasn't completely serious.

I think it was Best Buy that had that "clip" as a stereo speaker floor demo unit several years ago.

He does get bonus points for creativity in the ad. :p

ok, so the holes are for speakers and they probably had the equipment in the trunk.

Best Buy had the whole car in their stores. I guess someone else bought the front clip?

I believe that is only a stereo demo.

Mmm a trailer for club runs. Pull up and your own disco...

Computerworks is correct. I saw this setup at the Houston Autorama a few years back. It was display for car stereo equipment. It's not all that impressive.

I have one of those - bought it several years back to build a trailer to haul behind my ERA.

I'd like to sell the front half - if anyone's interested, please contact me. I'm located Northwest of Detroit, MI.

I'm still looking for a big piece of rounded fiberglass, like a bubble skylight or a car trailer "nose cone" to cover up the front portion of the back half. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks.

Jeff

Use the front 12"-24" of the front half, and have it molded onto the back half, and Voila!

joey_hv 11-17-2008 06:03 PM

hey i bet the ebayer will take it off your hands ...and resell it as half a kit!

jacks996 11-17-2008 06:07 PM

the front half would make a cool trailer as well. have it facing backwards.
