The twin Cobra's are ready to hit the road!
Here's my sons Pinewood Derby Cobra. He wanted it to match dear ole Dads! The boy has gone and made me proud!

He's 9. I Put the tape on for painting the pin striping. He did the painting..he's gotten pretty good with a rattle can. I also glued on the sidepipes and stuff..almost glued them to my fingers..ha..ha..I did the fender shaping too but he did much of it on his own as I nervously looked on. You don't know how hard it was not to do it all ...lol..We had some good times together doing it and it was a good learning experience for him.

Now that is cool. It's really great that he has the determination and patience to complete such an involved project at such a young age.
He'll go a long way in life, starting out this early. You must have done something right. Cheers, Richard |
