any one have a old old replica?
I am building a kit and we are trying to figure out who made the sucker. I have posted pictures in this forum: My guess is a 1970's shell valley but no one can figure it out.
If you could help me out that would be great! :JEKYLHYDE please post at: http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...hlight=mystery Thanks fellas! |
As stated before:
Not Shell Valley Not Midstates Not FFR Not Kirkham :D Not CSX Not La Exotics Not Butler Not SPF Not Hunter This is a true backyard "custom" build using a "not from mainstream" body. http://i10.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/1f/66/9942_1.JPG |
did you consider a Kellison stallion.....
|
not an A&C
|
definitely not a kellison or west coast. there were alot of startup cobra suppliers in the 80's, most likely was a pick and choose from several, from the angle the front end looks to be mustang II would need closer pic to be sure.
i wouldn't worry about who made it but how to build it, deep pockets and determination.... enjoy |
Yep that is a mustang II front end in there from a 71 cougar. Im not really too concerned about who made the kit but it shure would be nice to know.
|
looks like a U S Body...body especially going by the hood.

That would make tons of sence to me, I bought 71 or 72 cougar springs and they are way to powerfull, the whole front end is way to high. The guy who sold it to me builds hot rods and he told me it was a mustang II and also the 351C engine came out of the same car. From every picture of a mustang II it looks spot on to me; however I am no expert.
