Koni shock adjustment question for my Contemporary

The Jag IRS rear in my Contemporary has 2 Koni coilovers on each side. When I collapse the shock and rotate it to the stop and reverse direction fully, I get about 2 1/4 turns lock to lock. Does this adjustment affect compression or rebound? Where should I adjust it to? I have them now at about 1/2 way between stops. Has anyone got any experience with this, and where I should set them? I've got a 275 lb spring on each one, if that matters. Thanks for the help.

I thought with coilovers you can adjust the ride-hight. But different settings probably change the stiffnes of the suspension as well. Best wait for someone to chime in with expertise.

The Koni site seems to be down right now, but there's lots of (potential) information available.

Koni Damper Adjustment

I at first had Konis on my Cobra and the only way to adjust the rebound on the ones that I had was to take them off and have different valves put in. I switched to the QA1 coil overs which had 12 way adjustment for rebound with a small hex type nut that you could turn with your fingers and count the clicks. They also has a lot more adjustment for ride height than the Knois that I had. The higher the number of clicks, the stiffer the rebound. I liked them far more than the Knoi shocks I had.

It effects rebound only.
