If you missed the fact Jack was the first and third owner. He had sold the car away years ago only to look for it long after he sold it away. He found it and restored it as it was a special car in his lfe.

Read the World Registry of Cobras & GT40s 4th Edition (pages 500 & 501). It says Jack didn't own the car until approx '04! Thomas Payne owned 3020 for the first 2 years of it's life. I'm just saying... |

They are talking about the Corvette, not 3020.

I'm from Manhattan originally. Went to Dickinson College, in PA. Met Jack when we were both at Summer School in '65. I was taking Chemistry in prep for my freshman year. I have no idea what Jack was taking. I obviously had no idea what I was taking, either; the highest grade I ever got in the course was 35 ;-) Jack and the Corvette had more allure than the Chem lab ;-)
