T5 Question
I have a 1984 T5 in the Cobra & I'm getting ready to change the driven gear. I installed the present gear/cable during my build when there was no fluid in the tranny.
Will I lose any fluid when I pull the cable/gear from the tailshaft? I'm thinking that I won't or maybe just a small amount.%/ Just want to confirm my own thoughts. Thanks. |
If you are talking about changing the speedometer gear on the transmission, there should not be any fluid coming out of that hole when you remove the cable-gear.
