What happened to the smile? I guess the drivers of the Porsches and Ferraris behind you really ticked you off.
Thanks for sharing. :)

 Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out the "smirk" myself. Leaving C&C there is typically a pretty good crowd and a LOT of cameras rolling. So you look both ways, ease out (usually an officer is nearby watching the procession) and think about turning some decent RPM's without losing traction. After all, everyone there wants to hear that gorgeous sidepipe roar.
I think the Ferrari and Porsche guys were too busy smelling the 110 Sunoco coming from me. :D

what tires are you running?

Mickey Thompson street drag radials...all four corners. 255/60's up front and 325/50's in the back.

Nail hit. That was the essence of the post. You never really know what will have a profound impact on your future.
While I honestly can't remember actually being at that park and posing in that car, I suppose Freud would have to tell me if it had an influence on style, color, etc. I do remember being age 8 and the "kid" across the street had a shiny black Hemi 'Cuda. And a year later at the grocery store seeing a bright red GTO Judge gurgle on by.
For some reason, my first exposure to a Cobra is a bit fuzzy. But I do know it was around the early 70's somewhere in Central Florida.

I remember sitting on an actual airplane in the park next to Larson Pool on 19th Avenue in San Francisco when I was a little kid. Bummer, that I never became a Top Gun pilot or at least had a starring role in the movie Top Gun.

But you DID get the plane. It was made in a Polish factory by ex-Mig fighter artisans. They just forgot to add the wings and put on knock-off rims instead.
