There are several positive comments on SCOF about Craig's poly motor mounts. I didn't see any posts regarding alternatives.

I thought Olthoff's had them for 200.00 bucks. Didn't know they didn't carry mounts for an FE. -Kind of strange if you ask me.
I've heard good things about Craig's mounts, but I thought they were a little pricey (but who am I to say.....I don't make them):

The Performance Unlimited web site says they will have motor mounts "available soon", but I don't know what "soon" means. You could probably call them and find out: 262-673-4077.
I've heard good things about their poly trans. mount though:

As far as batteries are concerned, you can pick up a good one just about anywhere. A lot of guys seem to like the Optima batteries. I never put one in the Cobra, but I have one in the wife's Bimmer and have never had a problem.

-Have fun!

Are you a member of SCOF? You might want to post there. If those guys can't offer any other options, then Craig's mounts are the way to go.

Sparks,
My + terminal is also towards the front of the car, but the battery is rotated to accommodate the + terminal. The label on the battery is oriented to the outside of the car.
