I have to admit all these look good. This might have screwed up my decision on what color to choose but oo well :)
But after seeing the Yellow w/ Black my heart is back to it. Does anyone know if there is a picture of a Black and yellow. I saw a black with gold in a issue of Kit Car thate looked awsome. The yellow I was thinking of using was Velocity Yellow found on the Corvette. |

That is true. I roll mine outside in the Spring or Summer and in no time there are bugs crawling all over it. Must look like a big flower to them. |

Cobra Color
My Cobra is painted 2001 Viper Yellow. The correct shade of yellow was a hard decision. I don't like the yellows of the 60's, they are ugly. It took me over a year to pick my yellow. I was at a gas station in St Louis when a newly painted Mustang pulled in beside me. I knew when I saw the Mustang I knew yellow would work on a Cobra. A couple of years latter I parked next to a yellow Prowler at a car show and found the perfect yellow for a my Cobra. Prowler Yellow not the Viper yellow I had on my Cobra. When I paint my Cobra for the third time it will be Prowler Yellow. The Viper yellow has a lot of green in it and the Corvette has a lot of red but the Prowler has just the right amount of both. My yellow looks different in pictures. Sometimes dark orange to puke yellow. It's hard to photograph and get the correct color. If I'm parked on green grass it brings out the green in the paint. If it has water on it you can see the green in the paint. And every bug in the county will stop and check out your yellow paint. But there are not many Cobra painted yellow. And when you stop at the truck stop with your Cobra buddies, people will walk pass the yellow Cobra to look at the black one first, then the red or blue, then they will look at the yellow one. I seen this happen 10 or 15 times as we cruise together.
I still like my yellow. Black with red stripe, Wow Red with black stripe, Double Wow I need two more Cobras:LOL: Dwight http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...uly_07_7_1.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...agon_Snake.jpg Black is the show stopper color http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...RDTOP_REAR.JPG Oh yea I forgot one thing, it's easy for "some people" to see yellow cars if they are spinning their tires. He did not give me a ticket. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...80DSCN1717.JPG Dan how about this brown?
