Registering European Cobra
Apologies for posting this in 2-3 forums but I really didn't know where it belonged...
Has anyone imported a Cobra from the UK or at least outside of the US? I have my Gardner Douglas Euro Cobra here now and am looking to get it registered this coming week in Florida. From what I understand I need an 'MSO'. I think this is a US specific document and highly doubt that GD will be able to furnish me with one. I will of course be calling them to find out. If GD provides me with a simple letter confirming the origin of the chassis and confirming me as the owner will this be sufficient? Paul |
Paul,
I can't answer your question but some of the people that frequent the Registration Forum may be able to help you. They have different rules in almost every state it seems and even in bringing cars in from Canada. Florida may accept the paper work you have. Good luck and I hope it turns out to be an easy thing.
