The 2130

Many of you that are "Of Age" will remember the TV series "The Fugitive" from the 60's. IMO it was much better than the two hour movie and one of the best ever TV series'. Over the course of the 4 years that it was on 1963-1967 a Cobra both 289 & 427's appeared in about about 4 or 5 episodes. Recently these have begun to be posted on YouTube and I have been waiting for this episode in particular. It is called the 2130. It's about a computer scientist who uses a computer (wait till you see the machine and how fast it operates) to predict where Richard Kimble (David Jansen) would flee to next. There are 5 parts to the episode, each one loads at the top of the play list after the one being watched is completed.....Enjoy

Let me know what you think......this is the only series other than Honey West in which a Cobra was used infrequently.

Wow, that was cool. Mind you i laughed when the older chap said he would,nt have noticed the dent on the car :3DSMILE:.
I did see a Man from Uncle episode on youtube with a Cobra but can,t find it now.
There was also an episode of The Monkees with a Cobra Daytona in it.

Rick,

My Mother and Father watched every episode of that series and loved it. I only got to watch some of them when I was home or in a hotel where they had it on TV. I thought it was a really good series and wish they had more of that kind instead of the lousy junk they pass off as movies and series today. Thank goodness for Satellite. I just watch the old movies and shows. Of course to me an OLD show would be one with just cavemen and sticks and stones.

Yep, thats the one, wacky isn,t. I wonder who was driving the Daytona. Maybe it was someone from Shelby American.
When we were in Florida last year on holiday we watched Davey Jones sing at the Epcot center. It was great as he sang lots of old Monkees songs, even my kids enjoyed it.

I got dragged (actually enjoyed it) to a Simon & Garfunkel concert in Dublin about 4-5 years ago. They are pretty old now but mid-concert they said 'we would like to bring out someone that was putting out number one hits when we were at school'! I was thinking, who the hell are they going to bring out....Mozart! Anyway, out comes the Everly Brothers. Belted out three or four songs and got a HUGE reaction. Happy to have seen them live and was stunned they are still performing.

Sorry if the thread is slipping off topic. :JEKYLHYDE
