Mike,

Good luck and I hope it passes. I wish the people in this state would show a little interest in our SB-232 bill which would do away with the 500 car limit that can be titled but they don't seem to want to bother to write to the Senator backing the bill and when if fails they will be the first ones crying about it.

I personally called 12 or 14 of the people that I know and told them abut it and sent therm copies and asked them to write in supporting it and every one of them told me they just don't have time to write a letter to a Senator that won't read it. And 8 of them have been wanting to buy or build a car for the last 4 years but won't because they can't get one of the 500 numbers. Our Senator needs the letters so he can take them to the Senate when he presents the bill for voting to show that it has a lot of backing and points out that these cars are driven mostly in parades, to shows, and on occasional outings and do not contribute any measurable amount to the pollution. Plus they are only driven during the good weather and up here we don't have a lot of that. It is either to cold or two hot.

Looks like this bill passed the house and senate and is just waiting on a sig to make it a law!

Let's hope that our gov will sign the thing.

Thanks to all the people that worked hard on this bill. I sent emails to all the legislators and asked that they support it. Some even wrote back.

So, do we need to "ride" to the capitol so our voices can be HEARD?

Glad to hear it passed! Let us know if it gets signed by the Governor. Too bad it doesn't take affect till 2010, I'm just about ready to license mine.

I worked as hard as I could on this one behind the scenes. I'm glad we got this far. Now, just one more signature!

:)

Good luck and I hope that it gets signed. If we could have some politicians here with any common sense and get something like that, I would be happy to wait a year for it to go into effect.

Ron :)
