Ford Duraspark Ign. wiring ????
I'm building an engine run-in stand and trying to finish up my gauge panel. I'm going to use the Ford Duraspark ignition box simply cause a new one is 25 bucks and I don't want to buy an MSD box just for that purpose...
I'm running an MSD distibutor and have the adapter to connect the MSD distributor to the Duraspark box.... The box has 2 plugs, one is a 3 prong plug which connects to the distributor and the other is a 2 prong plug that would normally connect on the cars electrical system. One red wire and one white wire.... What do I connect these wires to????????????? I ran this set-up in the early 90's on my 65 Fastback for a few years and it worked fine, then I switched to an MSD box and removed the Duraspark box which I had mounted and hidden under the dash....I just don't remember how I wired it up back then.......
