West Cobra Rear Suspension Problems
Hi All,
I'm a new user and I want to let you guys know, If you have a West Cobra Car and you are having problems with the rear suspension travel and the jerking off the line we have the solution. First off I work in a Race Fab Shop in UT. I have been working of cars for 10yrs and I have plenty of experience in fabrication. We have recently worked on a West Coast car and solved the problems in the rear. We fabbed up new Upper arms made of 1.5" DOM and 2" diameter ends with one being a rod end. The end have polly bushings and are not rubber like the stock ones. We also have instructions to modify the lower arms so they don't bottom out. The arms sell for $400 shipped to any state. Call for details Flintstone Chassis Engineering (435) 865-0885 ask for Drew or Ryan. Any questions feel free to ask here on the forum. |
Too late for me
As a West Coast owner I've had a lot of suspension questions (see Suspension Dilemma thread). I have already paid for and await replacement upper link arms from Suicidedoors so I can't order from you but is there some way I could access your recommendations for modifications to the lower arms? I'm an amateur builder and while the upper arm travel problem was easily seen, I haven't done a closer analysis of the lower arm travel yet, since the uppers locked at nearly NO rear end travel. I'd gladly order the set of instructions from you if you have them available that way.
Thanks for the helpful post! Dirk |
