Black also radiates heat the fastest of any color so you don't want to be stuck somewhere cold at night with a black car. Maybe a chameleon, during cold periods, black during the day to absorb the heat, and white at night to cut down the heat radiation the other way around during hot spells.:LOL:

You obviously have never stepped on concrete in the hot CA sun. You won't notice the concrete sidewalk any cooler than the asphalt street pavement!

BTW, the moment you drive a car longer (more years) than it's expected life-time, you should actually considered to be a recycler and get a tax cut.
The same applies if you rebuild an engine and not throw it away.
