Question about CNC slave cylinder ???
Anybody is using a CNC slave cylinder p/n 305B with the rod p/n 1312 on a
T-5 tranny. The rod will fit the cylinder. I have to buy the rod but i don't know if the rod will fit on the tranny,i.e proper lenght,etc. Anybody has the same application,i called a distributor in IL that sells it but he's not 100% sure. Thanks guys, Michel |

I have that same set-up on mine. I had to modify the rod slightly for adjustment purposes. I'll post the info for you, I don't have it on this computer. Tomorrow I'll post the type of bracket I'm using & the link for the article on modifying the rod. It's a pretty easy mod too. Hope it helps you. |

After I went to the website where I got my bracket from, I found that they now sell a threaded rod to use in place of the 1312 rod. With this threaded rod, you don't have to get the 1312. I wish they would have offered that when I was putting my set-up together. Go to: http://home.bresnan.net/~dazed/test This is where I got my bracket from. Then, scroll down the page until you come to the SS Hydraulic Clutch Pushrod. You'll see a picture of it, I think it costs $15.95. If you still want to use the 1312 rod, go to: http://midnightdsigns.com/Mustang/HYD%20Clutch.htm And scroll down until you see the mod I was speaking about. As I said before, if they would have offered the threaded rod when I put my set-up together, I wouldn't have bought the 1312 rod. I went to NAPA to get the clutch spring. Anyway, hope this helps.
