		I noticed the seatbelt was 1. laying on the sidepipe as he exited and 2. just inches away from getting caught under the rear tire as he drove off down the grass.  Must have been his friend's car.  Bad day but could have been much worse.

		One other big mistake. If that was a "hot" track, you NEVER take your helmet off or get out of the car. 
 
Would have been another SNAFU if he ran over the lap belt and ripped off the door. Yep, "X" means novice. He needed XXX.

		After that exhibition of driving are you surprised that he took his helmet off and got out before the safety people got there? He must have missed the normally required drivers meeting and especially the part for Novice drivers. But since everything turned out ok, it was kind of funny. A good clip to show at meetings for new drivers.

		He probably entered that last turn at a top speed for the day---every body else was probably under heavy braking where he was hard on the gas 
 
Course the steering wheel being on the wrong side--maybe the pedals were reversed along with the steering
