Selling a Cobra to a Canadian

Does anyone know if a U.S. Cobra that is titled as a 1966 Ford Coupe could be registered in Canada? The customer said the car needs to be at least 15 years old. Since the pink shows it as a 1966 would that qualify? I don't want to sell him something that can't be driven up there. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Bonnie,

With any kit or manufactured car you need to show proof of actual build date. Transcanada (or whatever they call themselves these days) knows all the tricks and a "vintage" titled car will not work unless proof of actual build date/year is provided.

a guy from my hometown supposedly bought a cobra in the states and had it tied up in montana for 3-5 years trying to get it into canada due to transport canada or canada customs. I believe he had to tear it apart and bring it in piece by piece.

Good luck!
