Knotts Caravan from San Diego

Anyone planning on going to the Knotts AHA show on Saturday morning?

I'm in North San Diego County and plan on leaving sometime between 7 and 8 AM depending if others are going.

Anyone interested in joining me?

I plan on going to Knotts as well, I am coming from Fontana, so I do not know where or if its practical to join up....I would love to get get together with other drivers.

On another note - I have not recived anything regarding my registration? Shouldn't I have recieved something - anything? I sent a check, but got nothing in return, no replys to my emails or anything.

Did you get anything for your registration?%/

We're coming from opposite directions. You are going south, I'm heading north. Meeting place would probably be Knotts itself.

As for your second question, all of my friends have received our space assignments already. Got them last week. Did they cash your check? If so, you should receive your assignment any day.

Jim - What is the Knott's show? Would it be interesting for an aspiring Cobra owner to attend? How far is it from Carlsbad? Is there a link?

Thanks,
Bill

It's the annual Association of Hand Built Autos show in the parking lot of Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park this Saturday and Sunday 4/25-4/26. Saturday is by far the best day. Most of the major manufacturers show their cars and lots of owners show up with their cars as well. Well worth the $10 parking fee if you park at Knotts lot, or park free down the street.

This is the show that got me hooked on the car a few years ago. If you are thinking about buying/building a Cobra, this is the "don't miss it" show. You can go for an hour or spend all day talking to the factory reps and their customers who brought their cars.

It takes about an hour to get there from Carlsbad. Straight north on the 5 to Buena Park. Then follow the signs to Knotts Berry Farm and the noise to the Cobras.

So, how did you guys like the show? I thought it was great. I had my 2000 Cobra R in the SVT section...

Oops, sorry. I saw Knott's and didn't realize there was another event besides the FFF show there.
