ERA owners with 5-pin KO wheels

I'm trying to make my mind up on placing a kit order and have most of it figured out. But I'm still trying to figure out the wheel situation. My question - if I buy their kit with suspensions but without wheels from ERA - are there some problems with installing Vintage or Trigo KO 5-pin adaptors directly on it. ERA mentioned having to do some machining of the front hubs for the adaptors - from which I would take it that only bolt on-type wheels with hub covers would install directly without modifications or grinding. But, if I'm misunderstanding this and if Vintage wheels with adaptors will bolt right on then it seems like I might as well order my own wheels and save $600 or so. And then again maybe they don't and it might be cheaper in the long run with shipping to just order a roller??? Thanks

Dan

The Vintage 5-pin system will bolt on with no modifications to the front or rear hubs.

I have the 5 pin vintage wheels on my ERA FIA. If you go to the era website, go to the image gallery and look at my car you can see some pictures of the adapters in the gallery of my car.

Dan, the 6 pin jobs are really works of art. Nobody will appreciate them but you, but IMHO, they are well worth the money.

I put the Trigos on mine. If I remember right all I had to do was take a drum sander in a drill and sand a few thousands from the insides of the front adaptors. It took about 10 minutes.
