That's a 40' DV ? I'm looking at the tandem axle as, on paper, the triple is a lot heavier and has a bigger payload capacity than I'd ever see me needing.

I still kinda like the Ford - but if it doesn't have the reliability, or if they fuel economy really starts to come into play then 'the numbers' will dictate over the badge on the hood.

I'd be looking at vehicles ~3 years and older. Driving an estimated 15k a year.

I saw an article where the new gm duramax gets better MPG than the Dodge any thoughts on this?

Definately have a diesel over the current Hemi in the future for me,the 11mpg towing the 24 ft enclosed is a killer on trips.
