Did you see the black tank behind the radiator? It was attached to one of the cross tubes. Never seen one like that. My guess is an overflow tank for the radiator.

If you do open track, safety inspection requires a 'catch-can' for the rad overflow tube.

MaSnaka, that is correct.
Thanks Ron. I have a few hundred pics of CSX cars and Kirkham's and have never seen a tank like that. Even though the car was a bit rough it still amazes me how exciting it is to see a cobra in the wild!

Even the current bid of $43k seems kinda high to me for that car, but I have to admit I'm beginning to think I don't know a lot about Cobra values.:3DSMILE:

That price seems fair- he's probably got at least $20k in Armor All in that thing. :)

Interesting colour scheme - I dont not like it, but you reckon they could have painted the stripes straight, they look like they bend to the left in the front photo?

A lot of folks put cars on e-bay with really high reserves/BIN prices,if they find the one guy that wants it bad enough good, if not, they gotten a lot of exposure/advertisement.....they usually end up selling the car after the auction ends as a private sale....cheap way to get the car "out there" for the masses to see........

Plus this car is being sold by a broker, not the owner. We know how ebay brokers work. Owner wants 50k, broker tries to sell for 70k.
