Doug ... the oil cooler screen looks great and fits the look of the car. I'll have to take a closer look next time I see your car.

Will the radiator screen lay over the radiator or sit up in the front of the opening like a grille?

Looks really good Doug...

Plan is to have the radiator screen lay next to the radiator itself---about 3/4" off the face of the radiator. The idea is to protect it from rocks---and keep the bug collection to a minimum...

Tim: You'll get a look at it on Wednesday at lunch.

DD,

Looks great.

If you can get a close up of how the screen is held by the frame by the riveted "aluminum sandwich" it would help.

On spacing from the radiator surface, seem 3/4 inch won't provide much protection from heavy road debris kicked up by a truck in front of you.

Case in point, all sorts of construction debris falling off contractor pickup trucks in the LA area (man has that slowed down a lot!) provide a little anxiety in traffic.

My friend Robert's 427" ERA got smacked with a broken 5 gallon plastic bucket that dinged the fiberglass and brake inlet grill on his 427...if it had hit the radiator there would have been some damage.

You, AM and Iwanta have done some nice work.

Thanks, Pete

I'll take some close ups of the aluminum-screen sandwich next time I have it off the car. Simply put, I put as few rivets in it as possible with enough force to keep the screen securely in place.
