So I Rebuilt my Speed Demon.....
After rebuilding my Speed Demon I could not get the motor to idle. Had to run it at 3k just to keep it running. I don't have alot of time so it took me a couple of weeks to finally get to the bottom of the problem; with the help of Barry Grant (not personally of course). Thought it was a vacuum leak, power valve, dirt, etc.
Turn out the rebuild kit comes with several different types of gaskets. The gasket between the body and base was the wrong one. Put the proper gasket in and it runs like a charm. Just a heads up. Roscoe |
