Greater Cioncinnati Area Cobra Owners
I know that I am a newbie, so I am a bit excited and want to get involved with a local club.
I have been looking around the site and found a Louisville based club and a Columbus based club. Both sound like great groups, but they are both 80 miles away from the greater Cincinnati Area. First off is there a greater Cincinnati area club, if so I would appreciate any contact information? If not, Is there any interest in forming a group. We could sit around and discuss our Cobras, the Bengals and eat Cincinnati style chili and Geotta. Please give me a shout if there is any interest. Who Dey! (Sorry it is a Cincinnati thing) Howard |
I hung out with the folks from the Kentucky Cobra Club for a bit at the London(OH) Cobra Show. Great group and they had several members from Cinci.

There does seem to be a good number of snakes in the greater Cincy area but, so far as I know, there is no local club. I do know that the OCC has talked about organizing a local club but nothing yet has happened that I am aware of (I would guess that they have enough on their plate organizing the London show). Anyway, it would be nice to have a local group to do some cruises and snake and eggs from time to time. Think we may be able to drum up any interest?

I'm from the Dayton area. I would be interested in trying to get something put together. I know there is a guy near me trying to put a Dayton area club together, but the more the merrier.

Like Pete I spent a good part of the LCS weekend with the Kentucky guys and they are a great bunch. If I was in their neighborhood that's who I would run with. |
It seems like we are starting to get a little interest. I have a number for a guy with a Cobra near me who may be interested, and also one other person sent a PM.
I am sure most of you may know one other person you could hog tie and bring along. I am not sure how to best get the ball rolling, possibly we could pick a date and location at the end of July and have a face to face with anyone and everyone interested. Once we have something set, I could let Bill at Greater Cincinnati Performance Cars know so he could pass on the word to let any of his customers know what we are doing. Also if any of you guys go to car shows, you could pass the word. I am open to suggestions, but I think the first step is to set a time, date and location. I live south of downtown Cincy by 15 minutes, so anywhere in Greater Cincinnati is ok with me. Let's hear some thoughts. Howard |
Greater Cincinnati cobra and muscle car owners. We will be having a open house and Antique Auto will be open as well. We will be starting Thursday's nights as Hebron Nights. Please by all means lets get something started here at the shop for all the cobra's in the area. All starts July 9th. So come out and meet everyone there. Grab as many as you can and we'll start the Hebron Nights with a bang. Doesn't matter what type of cobra just bring them out.

Bill,
Thank you for the offer and support! What time does the fun start? I will make sure to be there. Howard |
If someone got a Dayton area club organized, I'd definately participate. An easy way to get started would be to show up at the K-mart cruise in in Beavercreek on a Fri night. Every Fri evening there is an informal but very large cruise in at the K-Mart across from the Greene (675 Indian Ripple exit). I'm planning on going this Fri.
