My car show observations with the Cobra...

- I always get people feel the fender edges. I also get more knowledgable people feel the inside edge of the cockpit for rivets. I then laugh because my car has both rolled wire lips and underside rivets.

- Kids sometimes want to touch the car.

- Parents have no control over their kids nowadays.

- Fat ugly chicks want to sit on the door or lean against the car and have their pictures taken by a friend.

- 99% of the people I hear talking about my car, or Cobras in general, don't have a clue about them.

- I no longer like to sit behind my car because I tire of people asking stupid questions or telling me the story of how their next door neighbor had a real one and sold it for 5 cents years ago and how they should have bought it from them but their wife said they needed a minivan.

- Real "judged" shows are a waste of time with a Cobra because they have no clue about them.

- When you actually meet someone who DOES know Cobras, they have a great appreciation for your car and are a pleasure to talk to.

I still enjoy a good show or two, but it's definitely a different world showing my Cobra as opposed to the dozens of other cars I've shown in the past.
