The Cobra is a replica from German builder Christian Novak with 512HP. The Corvette had 430HP and sticky tires.

The Cobra has a Covette engine in it, has traction control, which was disabled during this run.

I saw this clip on Club Cobra nearly a year ago. For some unknown reason, it was pulled off of Youtube when I went to show it to a German friend. Glad it's back.

The Cobra had the speed in the straights, but the Mongoose Gran Sport had the cornering , including sticky tires to help out. You can see she is fighting the Cobra in the corners as it just isn't getting any grip at all.
Either way, I'd love to have been driving that Gran Sport on a course like that one. Both of them were having way too much fun....:)
