Maine-ly classic Cobra MC 427

Does anyone know anything about.... or have a Maine-ly classic cobra that was built in Biddeford Maine? The guy that sold me my cobra kit said mine is a Maine-ly Classic MC 427. He told me that it is the same as a Classic Roadster. He said Classic Bought Maine-ly. Now I would like to know. I thought I had a Classic Roadster. Thanks in advance for any insite. Jay

Jay,
Yours
could very well be a "Mainly" Cobra. A small piece of history not many people are familiar with;

From the beginning, Gary Rutherford, original designer and owner of CR's, was having massive-self created- problems in the early "80's. Tony, (sorry forgot Tony's last name
started to build and sell CR's Cobras.

I actually had a four state region selling and building Cobras for Tony at that point. Well it seems something "gray" was going on and Rutherford threatened to sue Tony into oblivion.

Unfortunately, Tony decided to fold up his doors than to fight Rutherford-end of that chapter.

By all means your car is a Classic Roadsters Cobra.
