AC Continuation 427
The real thing from Brooklands, Surrey, England - not to be confused with the AC MkVI built in Germany!

These are great looking cars! :p
However I am not sure new means newly producing because they have been making them all along. I am not sure of the pricing but I seem to recall someone telling me they were well North of $150k US as a roller. Would like to see one first hand especially if next to a KMS. The AC is probably way more old school, less billet. NICE! :3DSMILE: |
yep, thats about 12 miles from my house.
they do some nice stuff there, but it aint cheap! the nearest kirkham AFAIK is >100 miles away, so it mabe a long wait. dont know if the factory is ever open to the public, but close by and worth a visit, if any of you are over this way, is the Brooklands Museum, http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/ and Mercedes Benz world http://www2.mercedes-benz.co.uk/cont...nds.flash.html next door (although there are no AC/Shelby cars in either). |
Just a couple of obs:
doesnt look like a toploader shifter - maybe TKO box? im not that keen on the split boot, but the FE looks great (imho), although ofcourse iwouldnt duck if anyone wanted to throw one my way. ... and that German 'Mk Vl-thing' referred to above looks suspisously like a splash from the UK Dax cobra replica. more here, if anyone is interested: http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/gener...-ac-mk-v1.html Kevin |
