Rear Spring, need help identifying

I recently got my kit on the road and discovered that the rear springs are WAY too weak. It was an old kit and sat on these springs for 15 years which may have something to do with the problem.

On each spring is a tag that is marked

E5SG
5560-RA
MID
35.0/3040

Does anyone know how to decode this?

It appears that 5560-RA is a Ford rear spring for some model. E5SG doesn't come up as a particular model, but maybe a Ford expert has better information.

looks like 1985 t-bird\cougar. take the tag info to a ford dealer. they will be able to put a part number to that tag. this will get you the exact application. then you can pic from other part numbers that fit your needs.
