Which shifter feels better ?

My cobra is at the go-kart stage and i installed a FFR shifter that i bought from a FFR member, nothing wrong with the shifter but i found that the ball was too high for me. My arm is too high when i shift and the throws are quite long. I would like to shorten it a bit.
What do you have in your cobra and what works best,i'm not very tall 5'6" so i sit low compare to taller guys, any suggestion for a perfect shifter ?

What tranny do you have?

I put a midshift on my TKO and love it so much better than the up and down...and its more ergonomic

Try the Jordan shifter. It might be what you're looking for.

I just cut the FFR shifter and made it shorter. I think I whacked about 2-2.5" off the length. Works much better now and the throw isn't so long.
