Ed,

That is a picture that 427SnakeSc uses and I am not sure but I beleive he may be able to tell you where he got it or who painted it. He posted in the thread of Brents about video from Monterey.

Yep, that is where I got it. I PM'ed him about a year ago about it but never heard back. I am hoping that someone in the CC community will know about it.

I don't know who the artist of this picture is but Dustin Anadaya of Artrigger Studios did a 10 X 14 oil painting of my car from a photo that I sent them. He is in Germantown, TN and the phone number is 901-881-4176. I'm sure that he could paint any car you sent him a picture of.

Here's the photo that I sent them and a photo of the oil painting that they did.

I have tried to find out where to get the avatar in large size. No luck. I checked with a local photo finishing shop and they said they couldn't do it either. I think I have figured out how to do it myself. If you have the equipment, you can try this. Print off a pic of the avatar. Then photo graph it close with a 5 meg or better camera. I am going to use an 8 meg camera. That will give you a good resoulution pic to get enlarged. I tried it yesterday with a 5 meg camera and I can get a 3ft x 2 ft. pic out of it. Should work without too much loss of resoulution. Good luck!:)

I do a lot of custom artwork for car enthusiasts an I have done a few digitally painted (sketched in Illustrator and painted in Photoshop) Cobra pictures. Here is a solid red Cobra at speed that can be detailed and customized to match anyone's car - color, stripes, pipes, rollbar, etc. It is 24" X 17" and can be shipped as an art print or sent as a printable PDF for printing at the user's end. I am currently working on a nice one of a Cobra leading an L88 Corvette on a twisting coastal road.

The artist's name is Klaus Wagger. He is from Switzerland, I believe. The original painting is about 5'x10' and was sold a few years ago in Paris. No prints are available. You can Google Klaus Wagger and look at his catalog. You'll find the picture and you can take it from there.
