Hydraulic Throwout Bearing ????

I have a Tilton Hydraulic release bearing. When I let the car sit for approx. 2 weeks, I noticed that the clutch pedal feels like the release bearing is riding dry on the shaft. Over time of moving the release bearing it starts to go away.

Have other experience this?

Don`t worry about it as it`s probably just your rear seal leaking on the shaft once you get the car going .... just kidding !!! :D
I have the Tilton unit on mine and I haven`t seen this yet . Aren`t you in South FL ? Could the humidity cause some flash rust on the sleeve that gets polished off as the clutch is used ?
When I assembled mine , I put a THIN coat of white lithium grease on the sleeve .

Ha - Ha very funny.... that is something you dont joke about :)

Well I was thinking the same thing. It never did this in the winter so you maybe right.

Another possibility ... the Tilton uses a quad seal on the piston , which has a fairly low breakaway compared to the "O " ring seal that some of the others use . An O ring will actually stick to the wall of the tube if it isn`t used for a while and has to breakaway before it can slide . The quad seal will do that also , but to a much , much smaller degree . After you cycle the piston ( TOB ) a few times , the seal is lubricated and all works smoothly . Either way , it isn`t a huge problem as we built 1000`s of hydraulic cylinders with quad seals and all your Agricultural cylinders use O rings on the piston and rod .
If you don`t have some white grease on the sleeve , I am leaning toward that as the cause .This may be a dumb question , but I assume you have a pedal stop .... right ???? You do NOT want to over extend the TOB as there isn`t much SF on the max length Tilton gives you .

I guess when I remove the body to paint ( hopefully soon) I will remove the tranny and apply more white grease.
