Take your distributor rotor off when you park it :D
On my old 94 Mustang I had a fuel pump kill switch hidden in the bracing of the trunk lid. It's MUCH easier to disable an old tech car than a modern one.

I'd be more worried about someone towing the thing than trying to hotwire it.
If it's cold, they have to follow the 'ritual' to start it anyways :)

I do not recall who came up with this security deterent from an earlier thread, an empty pistol holster on the console or seat.

If your doing a new build you can put in a ISIS intelligent multiplex system which you can disable it from being started and still will not be able to be hot wired . I dont know alot about this system but I just ordered one for my on going build .

Odd, I've never thought about anyone stealing it.....just vandalizing it.

If you already have a built car, the Ravelco essentially does the same thing and its nearly impossible to even know that it is installed.

One thought is is to install a simple relay for a starter or ignition kill, and place the relay at the coil area (hidden) or at the starter.

The on problem is if that relay fails by the starter your not getting to it either unless you disassemble the start or push start.

You would have to hot wire at the device
