Fans in front of radiator

Could not find anything in the search function about the fans mounted in front of the radiator. My 460 is cooled by a fan and shroud mounted behind the rad,it works great, except for noise. My question: would the fans in front do the same thing and are they quiet?

I am not sure how original you want your car, but I had twin fans in front of my radiator and none inside pulling and never had any heating problem in our 118° weather. Also the only way I could hear them was when I had the engine stopped. I had a light mounted that told me when they would kick on and a toggle switch that I could turn them on manually with.

Most feel the puller fan (behind the rad) are much more effective for cooling than the twin pusher fans (in front of rad). I have both, but the twin pushers are more for period correct looks than any cooling. The puller fan is on a thermo switch and the twin pullers on a switch.

My car has been assembled following the originals as much as possible except for 385,Tremec,Pin Drives, where do I stop .As far as the fans in front, if they do not work as good as a shrouded puller then maybe I do not really need them.I do like the way they look!!
