Looking for USA-Made Jack Stands:
Anybody know where to buy or what brand? How about Sears? I called there & the Sears people didn't even know - I haven't had a chance to stop by Sears yet. I would appreciate any knowledge you guys have on this. Thanks.

Norco Industries
Norco gives you the option of imports or US made. Their website shows which is which.

I don't know where these are made, but I use 4 of these and they are great. Even at the lowest setting they are pretty high. And I have had them up pretty high and they are very stable.

Check your local craigslist or garage/flea market sales.
My favorite set of jack stands is an old pair my uncle bought in the 70's, that I took and got powdercoted (sat in our garage nearly 30 years!). Looks like new now, and feels much nicer than the new ones, IMO. -Dave |
